Today's digital world offers numerous possibilities for playing video and audio files. A while ago, the CD and DVD were used for playing video and audio content, but now, media files are taking over. There are numerous digital file formats available on the market and it's very difficult to find a software player or media device which can support all of them. Windows Media Player, the media player application which comes with Windows, offers limited support for media formats.

After the program is installed and launched, the user will see a practical and intuitive interface which only requires him to select the desired media file or group of files. SPlayer allows opening several media files at a time and playing all of them, one after another.

When importing video files, the user will be able to add various subtitles and modify the quality of the video playback, by changing the brightness or contrast and configuring SPlayer to use hardware acceleration. This is useful when playing full HD video content. When playing audio files, the user will be able to take advantage of the equalizer, which can improve the audio quality and can also make audio files sound more interesting. The program is also compatible with multiple-channel audio files, like DTS or AC3.
